A Letter to Volks

I’m posting this a little bit backward, as I think I ought to talk about Dolpa before I share a letter referencing Dolpa. However, this really touched me! I think it expresses one of the reasons that I love Volks so much. It’s more than just their dolls, it’s the people who work there, too! ♥

Besides, I wrote about Dolpa in my comprehensive blog. First I wrote all about the Saturday, and then I finished the run-down of day 2!

Dear Volks & Volks USA,

Thank you so much for your hard work and effort to bring such a wonderful Doll’s Party to New York City! I’ve never attended a Dolpa before so I was very nervous, but the event faaaaaaaaaaar exceeded my expectations. ★ I couldn’t have imagined what it would have been like. The staff were friendly and still very professional, and the general atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was clear that Volks really cares about their customers and fans; that means something very special and important in a world where most companies focus solely on profit.

I particularly wanted to thank those WONDERFUL people working at the Sumika table who helped me bring home Nono. It might seem silly, because she isn’t rare or particularly expensive, but Super Dollfie Nono is my ~dream doll~! ♥ I’ve been admiring her for years, but never purchased her for various reasons. Seeing her at Dolpa was too much for me to resist.

However, if it hadn’t been for the amazing patience and kindness of the workers at the Sumika table, Nono would have had to stay at the Dolpa without me. I’m still not sure what was wrong with my bank card; I was a nervous wreck until I could get online to confirm, especially with the added stress of a hectic ride back to the airport. Being able to not only see, but bring home, a Nono was my “Super Dollfie miracle” from Dolpa, and it couldn’t have happened without the attentive service from the staff members. I really appreciate everything–it means a lot to me! ♫

This kind of service and heart is why I love Volks. ♥

Thank you so, so, SO much! I look forward to another Dolpa.

Best Wishes,
Alice

Dear Alice,

Thank you so very much for your letter.

These kinds of letters are a driving force for all of us at Volks to work our hardest to continue to bring wonderful SD miracles to all of you!

We are so happy to hear that the Dolpa in New York not only met, but exceeded your expectations. We hope that you will continue to join us and your fellow SD fans at our events!

We are also happy to hear that you were able to bring home Nono, whom you’ve dreamed of for so long. We know that some dolls just call to you, regardless of their cost or rarity. Every SD is special. Once you have her all dressed and made up to your liking we would love to see photos of her, or even feature her in our Customer Gallery.

We know that sometimes there are difficulties, especially during travel, so we are happy to help you as we can when these kinds of difficulties occur. We will definitely pass along your kind words.

We thank you once again and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

Sincerely,

VOLKS USA

More about the Nono soon! ♥
